Summer History Day Camps

| Director Michele with Colonial Campers |
VERY
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!! As many of you know, my husband was paralyzed in a car accident 3 years ago,
and I have been trying to run my business and care for him ever since. We are in the process of selling our home in
order to move into a handicap accessible home. We must clean, repair, and pack up 30 years of house and accumulated "stuff,"
and be moved out by August 1.
I have considered not holding camp this summer, but understand that some
girls have been waiting for years to attend. I am not going to be able to conduct camp as usual, but I am offering a scaled-down version of the camp experience, 2 days per
week, for 3 weeks. The dates are posted below. They are on Mondays and Thursdays because that's
when my husband is in all-day physical therapy sessions. I know this isn't anywhere near what I've
done in the past, but it will at least give some girls the opportunity to have a Victorian Adventures experience.
Additionally, we are moving to Cobb County, in order for me to not only care for my husband, but to help babysit my new grandson,
who is to be born in September. We are putting Southern Oaks up for sale, but will conduct activities there as long
as we own it. Thank you greatly for your understanding and support, Michele,
Camp Owner/Director
